Fellchaser Studio
Beauty of the Handmade
A studio for handmade stained glass and large-scale art, built by an engineer who works in wood, metal, and light — solo pieces and full commissions alike.

Fellchaser Studio works at two scales — small batch stained glass built by hand at the bench, and large-scale art and installation built with an engineer's toolkit and a network of fabrication partners.
Fellchaser Studio is currently building out its large-scale portfolio and taking on commissions. The engineering and fabrication capability behind it is already in place.
Concepts developed and proven out in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS before a single cut is made — so ambitious pieces are structurally sound, not just pretty renderings.
Wood, metal, glass, and mixed media, combined freely. Laser cutting, 3D printing, and Arduino-driven automation bring motion and light into a piece where it makes sense.
Backed by a working network of makers, including a full woodshop partner, so a project isn't limited to one person's bench or one material's constraints.
Before anything is cut, foiled, or welded, it's modeled — every joint and dimension worked out in SolidWorks first, so the engineering holds up as well as the aesthetic does.
Parametric rim and spoke geometry, modeled for a solid-wood build.
Custom control-panel housing, laid out for CNC or laser production.
Panel design with precision cutouts for gauges, switches, and displays.
Climate-controlled housing concept with a circular viewing window for monitoring without opening the chamber.
I have a degree in mechanical engineering, and Fellchaser Studio is where that training meets creative freedom — using an engineer's precision to build things by hand that are meant, first and foremost, to be beautiful.
I work solo at the bench on stained glass, and alongside a network of fabricators, woodworkers, and builders on anything larger — sculpture, installation, and commissioned pieces in wood, metal, or glass. If it can be engineered, it can be made.

Whether it's a custom suncatcher for a window of your own, or a large-scale art or installation build — small batch or large scale, I'd love to hear about it.
